Пътят към успеха

The past year was once again an auspicious one for all Ravens who took the SAT and TOEFL exams on their route to success. The long hours of preparation paid off for students in the 11th and 12th grade, who intend to continue their higher education in Great Britain, the Netherlands, the United States, and Germany.

Ivan Evtimov, 12th grade

EVTIMOVOver the course of the last two years, Ivan has had the SAT I and TOEFL exams, as well as the SAT II Subject tests in German and Mathematics. He took the TOEFL and SAT, scoring 114 (of 120 possible) and 2230 (of 2400) in his first attempts. Moreover, he received a maximum result of 800 in SAT II German and second-level SAT II Math. Shortly after filing his application papers, Ivan was accepted into Jacobs University Bremen and is awaiting replies from universities in the US.

Mirella Dankova, 11th grade

DKAlthough Mirella took the SAT for the first time a year earlier than the usual, she scored 2070 with an exceptionally high result on the Writing section – 780 out of 800.After taking the SAT I again this January, Mirella has a net score of 2180. She also had the TOEFL exam this year, and received 109 points. She plans to study abroad, hoping to do a humanitarian major in the US.

Sezen Ismet, 12th grade

SEZENSezen held the SAT and TOEFL tests and scored 2180 and 108, respectively. She has applied to universities in the USA and Europe, planning to study accounting or business management.

Feriha Ibryamova, 12th grade

FerihaFeriha took the TOEFL test in 2012, scoring 102. She is awaiting reply from universities in the UK and the Netherlands, namely Birmingham City University, Bristol University, Glasgow University and LUC The Hague. Feriha intends to study either business and economy or law.

Nikola Dyulgyarov, 11th grade

NIKOLANikola, too, took the SAT for the first time a year earlier than his peers, scoring 2250, with a Writing section score of 780. Nikola had taken the TOEFL in the 8th grade, receiving a result of 111. Last year he had it again, scoring 115. Nikola intends to take the SAT II Tests in Chemistry, Physics and Biology and to apply for research universities in the US.

Elitza Ivanova, 11th grade

DIMOVAElitza held the SAT for the first time last year and scored 2060. She wishes to study biology or zoology in college. She intends to take the TOEFL exam this year and apply for college or university in Europe or the USA.

Bilyana Petkova, 12th grade

1Bilyana had her first SAT II Subject tests in the 11th grade; she received the highest score – 800 –  in SAT II Chemistry early last year. Later, she took the SAT II Biology and level 2 Math, scoring 730 and 790. Bilyana’s TOEFL score is 110, her first SAT I score is 1950, and her SAT I score from this year’s exam (January test date) raises her overall score to 2140. She plans to study biology or chemistry in a research university in the United States, and as of now is accepted into University of Exeter and Drake University.

Peter Barzev, 12th grade

BarzevWith a result of 105 on the TOEFL, Peter applied to universities in Europe and is admitted to University of Exeter, one of the top universities in the UK, according to Daily Time. Moreover, he was accepted into the University of Sheffield, the University of Birmingham, and the University of Liverpool.

Radoslav Penkov , 12th grade

PENKOVIn 2012, Radoslav took the TOEFL, SAT, and SAT II tests in Physics and Second-level Math. He scored 113 on the TOEFL, receiving the maximum amount of points (30 out of 30) on the Reading Section. His SAT score is 2030, the SAT II Physics result is 750, and his Math II score is 790. His January 2013 SAT scores have built on his previous success; his net score now is 2080 . He intends to further his education in the US.

Hristina Nenova, 12th garde

NENOVALast year, Hristina took the SAT II Test in Math and the TOEFL, scoring 690 and 110. After applying for universities in the UK and the United States, she was accepted into Boston University and Birmingham City University.

Dimitar Stoyanov, 12th grade

STTIn 2012, Dimitar took the TOEFL exam, scoring 103. He has since applied to colleges ad universities in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Stefan Totev, 12th grade

Stefan took the TOEFL exam and is now awaiting reply from universities in the UK.
